Since 2020 I’ve been designing, building, and creating for homeowners and businesses in Michigan. I understand that being a great craftsman requires time, patience, attention to detail, and quality materials. These ingredients go into every piece I create, so everything is original and built to make a positive visual impact. I have a preservationist heart and prefer to use inherited tools and historic materials when appropriate. My work started as a hobby that turned into passion, and then blossomed into a career of crafting and creating custom items for customers. From animal based soaps and balms to wooden furniture and doors, I have a passion for creation. Using locally sourced and homegrown goods from my farm in North Branch, MI, I strive to design and restore what I have learned from my heritage. THE STORY
Handcrafted By Jenny, LLC is a company located in North Branch, Michigan born from my passion for handmade, unique items. I was exposed to skilled trades at a very young age as my parents restored their early 1800's farmhouse. At 19 I joined the preservation field restoring wood windows in historic downtown Detroit. By 21 I was focused on restoring the 1924 home I purchased from my great-grandparents estate, along with a few others just for fun. Now, in 2025, I am hard at work raising cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, and a family on a beautiful farm in the Thumb of the Mitten. Hard work has taken my heart by storm and to this day I continue to learn and develop new skills as often as possible. I have a lot of integrity in the pieces I create and am proud to be able to share my passion at this level.
