Since 2020 I’ve been designing, building, and creating for the Ferndale, Michigan area. I understand that being a great woodworker requires time, patience, attention to detail, and quality materials. These ingredients go into every piece I craft, so everything is original and built to make a positive visual impact. I have a preservationist heart and prefer to use inherited tools and historic materials when appropriate. My work started as a hobby that turned into passion, and then blossomed into a career of crafting and creating custom items for customers. MY STORY
Handcrafted By Jenny, LLC is a company located in Ferndale, Michigan and born from my passion for handmade, unique items. I was exposed to skilled trades at a very young age as my parents restored their early 1800's farmhouse. At 19 I joined the field restoring wood windows in historic downtown Detroit. By 21 I was focused on restoring the 1924 home I purchased from my great-grandparents estate. Hard work has taken my heart by storm and to this day I continue to learn and develop new woodworking skills as often as possible. I have a lot of integrity in the pieces I create and am proud to be able to share my passion at this level.
